Wanted is based on a comic book miniseries created by Mark Millar. This action movie is directed by a Russian director, Timur Bekmambetov. Starring Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, James McAvoy, and Terence Stamp.

Summary:
The storyline follows Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy), a cube-dwelling, frustrated office worker with a dull and depressing life. Until he crossed paths with a hot female assassin named Fox (Angelina Jolie) who introduces him to The Fraternity, a secret guild of the best assassins led by the enigmatic Sloan (Morgan Freeman).

As a new member of The Fraternity, he must undergo a series of physical tests and discover his special skills - which are similar to his father's. Thru this, he could take revenge on his father's death who was once a member of the secret guild. It's his destiny to be part of The Fraternity but there are some secrets that he must uncover about the guild in order to find out his own destiny.

For the first half hour Wanted felt like a trailer.Adapted from a graphic novel the film never seems to settle,the actors seem ill at ease with the material and the impatience on the directors part leaves us with a messy hackneyed film of action set pieces and sci fi mumbo jumbo inbetween. The film tries far too hard to be cool which is a shame because im sure it could have been a better film if things would have just been done with a little less haste.James McAvoy,so convincing in Last King Of Scotland is hard to like in this role.Morgan Freeman seems totally non interested but to be fair hes given virtually nothing to do and just serves as filler between action scenes.Angelina Jolie is the real star of this film,she has astounding presence as an actress and suits the action genre,its just a shame we cant find a truly memorable action film for her to star in.In summary Wanted is a fast paced but legless action film that promises much but delivers very little.It leaves you wanting. Wanted is really a very good Action movie. The film tries far too hard to be cool which is a shame because I m sure it could have been a better film. By the help of this film I am learning action. Thanks for this action movie.

I really enjoyed reviewing this blog because it gives the readers a thorough description about the film. I love that this blog gives a description of the movie, the ratings, a critiquing review from another website and trivia about the film. Although this website doesn't really review the film itself, it still provides a great way for the reader to get a good idea of the film. I have seen this film before and I fairly enjoyed it but if I knew about this blog beforehand, dedicated to action films, I would have known if I was even interested in this film before viewing it by the information. I like action films because of the thrill and adrenaline rush I get once I watch a fantastically directed scene like James McAvoy shooting and curving a bullet over Angelina Jolie's body and into a dead cow or a car chase scene where there are speed chases and witty one liners. Thanks for posting great movies for this action blog and I hope to see more from you soon.
