SERIES SUMMARY:

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981): Set in 1936, the first film introduces us to Indiana Jones, an intrepid professor and archaeologist. He embarks on a quest to find the fabled Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis can harness its supernatural powers for their own nefarious purposes. Jones faces perilous obstacles, and treacherous traps, and encounters memorable characters in his pursuit of ancient treasures.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984): The second film takes place one year prior to the events of the first movie. Indiana Jones finds himself entangled in a dangerous adventure in India, where he must rescue a village's missing children and recover a stolen mystical artifact known as the Sankara Stones. Alongside his companions, including the feisty nightclub singer Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) and the resourceful young Short Round (Jonathan Ke Quan), Indy confronts dark forces and battles against a sinister cult.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989): In the third installment, Indiana Jones teams up with his estranged father, Henry Jones Sr. (Sean Connery), to search for the Holy Grail. Their quest takes them through a series of thrilling challenges, testing their knowledge, courage, and the strength of their bond. They must outsmart Nazis led by the ruthless Walter Donovan (Julian Glover) and face their own personal demons in a race against time.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008): Set in the 1950s, this fourth film sees Indiana Jones pulled back into action when he becomes entangled in a Soviet plot involving ancient artifacts and the mysterious crystal skulls. Indiana Jones is the best character to ever hit the screens. And he better be. He is created by George, Steven and played by Harrison Ford. That may seem normal now that we have lived with him for 20 years, but can you imagine what that must have been like back in 1981. That would be like Tom Hanks or Will Smith joining forces with James Cameron and Steven Spielberg for a completely original idea in today's terms.
